Sites Associated With Corfu:

The Konstantinopolis Hotel: The "Konstantinoupolis" Hotel was built during the British Protectorate (1814-1864) and opened in 1878 offering room and board. This Traditional Hotel stands out for the excellent value of its quality services, its multilingual staff, along with its charming Greek hospitality. The hotel Constantinoupolis has 31 fully equipped rooms, all with intimate atmosphere, spread out over four floors of a five-storey building.

The Villa Alexina: A rare opportunity to stay in one of the original manor houses built by the Venetians in the 16th century, which has been renovated and restored, creating a fabulous house within its own grounds in a traditional Greek village, next to the sandy beach of Agios Spyridon.

The International Lawrence Durrell Society - An organization dedicated to exploring the works of Lawrence Durrell through publications and academic conferences. The ILDS held their eleventh international conference on Corfu in 2000.

Bibliothèque Lawrence Durrell (Lawrence Durrell Library): Université Paris X, UFR d'Etudes Anglo-Américaines - This site includes a searchable databse of the library's holdings, which extend beyond Durrell's texts and manuscripts, and includes information on the Centre de Recherches "Espaces / Ecritures," as well as affiliated academic events.

The Space Between: Literature and Culture 1914-1945 - A society for the study of literature and culture between the wars.
